Bloons TD 6 is a strategy game with ever-expanding features. Your role is to craft the perfect defense using monkey towers and heroes. This game introduces the best line-of-sight mechanics and 3D graphics.Ready to pop every last invading bloons!

First, BloonsTD6 gives a tutorial on how to play the game. The goal is straightforward – to stop the bloons from getting through. You’re taken to a designated circle and then instructed to place a 0-0-0 dart monkey. Next, the monkey points to the play button to begin the level. After the second round, the bloons earn the monkey points.

As you climb up the ranks, you earn the monkey experience. For the upgrades, you simply tap the Dart Monkey Icon. Each monkey has five upgrades, so you can choose dart monkey tier 1 to upgrade. Then, the tutorial monkey tells you to apply it.

Once you reach round 3, Quincy shows up. This monkey hero upgrades itself throughout the game. You can now proceed to round 4. Follow the same steps until you reach level 10.

The main role of the game is to stop the enemy bloons from reaching the exit points. Since each tower has a different role in the game, you can play from a fixed top-down perspective.

This game introduces new mechanics, 5th-tier upgrades, and a path for each monkey. Other than that, there are three types of bloons – the BAD, instakill, and knockback. Just like the other games in the series, purple bloons have been the counterpart to white and black bloons. The good thing is that they are immune to plasma, fire, and energy weapons.

The TD6 has introduced Camo and regrow properties. This is not something that existed in the previous versions. The other new game mechanic is the line of sight. It’s where certain obstacles block the towers.

Each round features a pre-defined set of bloons, but the apocalypse is randomized in the new game. As the player progresses, it gets harder. And you can choose the mode that suits you best - easy, medium, or hard. This is what makes this game more diverse than the previous versions of the TD series.

The Bloons appear in 40+ rounds such as ZOMG, BFB, MOAB, and DDT. They have a lot of health and require 700 hits to pop. And after reaching round 100, you receive an insta-monkey which can be upgraded in any mode. Again, similar to the previous version, you can unlock more stuff like new heroes and powers. Even better, there’s a new trophy store that offers exclusive cosmetics.

Start with Dart Monkeys

Unless you want to build a unique path, you should play around with the dart monkeys. They can handle the first few rounds and allow you to generate income early in the game. In the future, you can sell them for a more reasonable price. Generally, you should place the dart in front of the map such that you’ll have enough time to recover if you miss the bloons.

Don’t Focus on Upgrading Early in the Game

You’ll be more productive if you place more units rather than upgrade what you already have.

Place Your Hero Early

Every hero will upgrade itself. The earlier you place them on the map, the more benefits. Unless you have a problem with the starter bloons, you should place the hero on levels 5-7. Here is the catch – you should not place the hero if you’re losing your life. You’re better off spending money on a dart monkey rather than taking the hit early.

Use Build Order to Find the Style That Suits You Best

For every upgrade, you earn five points. Remember, it’s easier to place a large number of towers rather than upgrade. And every time you see the strategy guides talks, it’s about building a path.

Prioritize the Maps

Place the game units on the front part of the map. You can now build your way toward the front part of the map – this will give you some breathing room. Of course, in your last-minute defense, you should protect your life. Always remember that your life is important. Sometimes, it’s prudent to let the bloons pass.

Place Your Towers Where They Can Cover the Most Track

When you click on a tower, there’s a grey circle around it. You want to place your units at strategic points to stay in the fight longer.
