The Last Shelter: Survival offers an intuitive interface that allows you to interact with the game. You’re in charge of all base-related activities – you can attack, build, and defend your troops. However, you’re surrounded by deadly and dangerous creatures ready to pounce on you at any time. You can level up to protect your precious resources and transform your base into a booming empire.

What is even more interesting is that the graphics boost your gaming experience. Everything from the map to the heroes shows a post-apocalypse life. The more your shelter grows, the better you can survive the game. Other than that, your empire should be powerful enough to defend against different enemies. You cannot just conquer the world war Z kind of wasteland without access to heroes.

Furthermore, each gameplay session allows you to burn through the resources and use speedups to accomplish tasks. Whether it's research, construction, or training, you don’t have to worry that your countdown timers will run down quickly. While beginners will have enough resources to pull through without them, the speedups will prevent expensive upgrades later in the game. Work with Allies

Once you enter the alliance menu, you can claim rewards. For the first time, you can use the free teleport. To survive, you should move to a location that is easier for your allies to send reinforcements – this will be a critical part of the game. If the protection shield disappears, the other players can raid you.

If you want to join an alliance, you should research your base. Once you become a member, two shaky hands will appear. But every time someone helps, the timer is reduced.

Use Task Shortcuts

For every shortcut you need, there’s a button. During the tutorial chapters, each will take you where the task needs to be performed. If you want to upgrade a building, you just tap on the button, and it will be there. This feature is important, especially when you want to line up tasks without being sidetracked. Other than that, it can be challenging to scroll around the base if it gets bigger.

Keep the Buildings Organized

Since you’re the commander, you can build the base wherever you want. You simply tap on the icon, and a road will take you to the construction site. But the game will not always recommend the best paths – plan ahead of time. You can move the structures to different locations by tapping and holding.

Manage Your Heroes

You should assign your leader as a hero for marching the troops - each will have a set of skills. Once you tap on the icon, you will understand where the hero should be assigned. Keep managing them to maximize the development of your base.

Development heroes will provide value in the growth shelter and reward you with sources periodically.

Send the Troops Marching

When you tap on the button on the right side of the screen, you’ll see a world map. You can also see the resources, neighboring bases, and zombies. After you unlock more troops, you can send them to different tasks. The trick here is to keep sending them to maintain a steady flow of resources.

Participate in Events to Earn Rewards

On the right side of the gift icon, you’ll find different events listed here. After every success, you earn the game currency or diamonds. More specifically, you should participate in the champion's duel. In this mode, one player is pitted against another set as a sort of consolation prize. This is a simple way to level up without using the game currency.
